Open Position — Operations Manager
We need a highly adaptive and resourceful person to take the lead in our day-to-day operations. As a growing organisation, all our staff and volunteers are required to be flexible and to have initiative. In this role you will work closely with a range of people, so you must have good social skills and be outgoing. Your work will encompass overseeing parts of our programs, and ensuring program staff are meeting goals, volunteer management, and reporting to Senior Management.
Requirements
Completed or in the process of finishing a college or university degree
Preferably studied business, accounting, management, human resources
Past work experience in an organization or a company working with people
Fair knowledge of English education
Ability to use computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet)
Ability to delegate and manage tasks of volunteers and staff
Honest and hardworking – with a good heart!
Open Position — Senior English Teacher
Friends of Koh Rong is seeking a Senior English Teacher to help teach the amazing kids of Koh Tui. Our Senior English Teachers are responsible for guiding our English program. This includes working to further deveop our curriculum, alongside experienced Foreign Teachers. Senior English Teachers take the lead in helping our Teaching Team develop and teach amazing lessons to our students. You will be largely working in the English Program, but will also have some involvement in other Friends of Koh Rong activities.
Requirements
English teaching experience
Experience living in rural settings or willingness to live remotely from family
Past work experience in an organization or school working with people
Good knowledge of English
Ability to use computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet)
Ability to delegate and manage tasks of volunteers and junior staff
Good class record keeping skills
Honest and hardworking – with a good heart!
